Is your farm fridge failing your livestock?

2 min read
A recent study has revealed 84% of on-farm fridges are storing vital livestock vaccines at the wrong temperature.
Why does this matter?

This isn't just a minor issue, it's a critical problem that could compromise your animals' health and your farm's productivity.

Vaccines MUST be kept precisely between +2°C and +8°C to remain effective.

Fluctuating temperatures, like those reported by this study, render vaccines useless, leaving livestock unprotected.

The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) grants are here to help. Did you know you can get up to 50% funding to invest in a medical-grade fridge specifically designed for vaccine storage?

We have the right products for you and they are FETF-eligible.

We offer a range of specialised refrigeration units to keep your vaccines safe and effective:

  • Lec Medical Pharmacy Essential (82L Fridge) – SKU: 444410640: This compact 82L countertop fridge features a solid door and integrated lock for security. Its external digital controller makes temperature readings quick and clear.
  • Lec Medical PEGR400BT-AU – SKU: 444411304: A larger capacity option for extensive vaccine inventories.
